Our chains are hand made from sterling silver, fine silver, or gold filled wire. We start by wrapping the wire around a mandrel to form a coil. The coil is then cut perpendicular to the wrapped wire to form rings. Each ring is opened, inserted through other rings to form the interlocking chain pattern, and closed. Depending on the chain pattern, the ring ends are closed by either simply butting the ends together, or by soldering or fusing.
We also have kits for many of our chain bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. The availability and price of a kit will be displayed below the item description displayed when the Item Details button is clicked. Our kits include detailed directions and all the materials needed to assemble the item. Tools are not included in the kits. (Recommended tools)
